Maxine's classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. She has over 18 years' teaching experience, and holds a British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma.
Her approach focuses on the relationship between gravity, breath and movement. It is an integrated approach that asks for our full attention, sometimes quiet, sometimes dynamic, but always with a strong sense of curiosity. She is less interested in postural perfection and more in postures as a framework to explore how we are.
The beauty of the approach is in the acceptance of how we are, from which comes the opportunity to be creative and develop a very personal practice. Maxine encourages us all to have the playful attitude of the beginner.
