Maxine is originally from London, but has been teaching yoga in Norwich for the last 12 years.
Maxine began her teaching in London with The Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. As part of the teaching team she taught weekly classes, helped to organize retreats and was invited to become a Foundation Course Tutor for The Institute.
Having originally trained with The British Wheel of Yoga, she has experience and interest in many yoga traditions including: B.K.S. Iyengar, T.K.V.Desikachar and Sivananda. However, it was discovering the work originally pionered by the late Vanda Scaravelli that most inspired her, and continues to guide her understanding of yoga practice.
